What is the cost of procedure?
Our office policy prevents us from quoting prices without a free consultation for a variety of reasons,
such as personal goals, extent of procedure, type of implant (if applicable), and projected length of surgery.
We can address these issues in a complementary consultation and give you a written estimate based on our discussion.
How much do you charge for consultations?
Initial consultations for cosmetic procedures are free of charge.
What is the usual length of recovery and what are the restrictions?
Recovery time depends on the type of procedure(s) being done. Click on the procedure
link for a further discussion of the procedure and recovery time.
Where can I find more information?
In addition to the information on our website, visit LookingYourBest.com
and PlasticSurgery.org for more
information on a variety of procedures. These two websites are sponsored by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and
have the most complete, accurate information available.
Can I talk to someone who has had the procedure done?
In most cases, we have previous patients who are willing to discuss their experience with prospective clients. For privacy reasons,
we do not give the information out until we have seen the prospective client in a consultation. Feel free to contact
our office for more information.
Will insurance cover any part of a cosmetic surgery?
No. There are rare cases where a medically necessary procedure can be done at the same time as a cosmetic procedure, which
may allow us to discount the cosmetic surgery cost somewhat. These rare instances are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Are there any medications that I have to stop taking before a surgery?
Yes. It is important to stop taking anticoagulants (or blood thinners), certain vitamins and to stop smoking for a period of
time prior to a procedure. These are discussed in detail during pre-operative teaching.
How soon after my consultation can I schedule a surgery?
Typically the surgery schedule is finalized 4-6 weeks in advance for elective procedures.
Do you accept payment plans?
We require payment in full two weeks prior to the date of surgery. There is a company we work with called Health
Finance Options who handles financing. Usually we can fill out an application in the office and have a reply within
24 hours. We also accept VISA and MasterCard.
How do I schedule a consultation or appointment?
Contact our office at 719-578-1112 to schedule a time which works best for your schedule. Appointments are usually scheduled for
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Can I bring a friend with me to my consultation?
Yes. We have many clients who bring friends or spouses with them when considering surgery.
We also recommend bringing a list of questions.
Can I bring my children with me?
If you plan to bring children, we strongly recommend that you bring someone to watch them while you are having
your consultation. We have a small play area for young children and magazines and books for older children.
